Members of Air China PhoenixMiles will now be entitled to earn either 800 or Wall of China 400 kilometers of air mileage earning simply by staying at any of the participating properties of Gloria Hotels & Resorts across China. Meanwhile, members of "Gloria Partner", the Gloria Hotels & Resorts' loyalty program can also redeem 800 kilometers by using 2,500 of their membership points.
According to the ministry, the new agreement, which is based on the free-trade agreement signed in 2005, will replace a similar one signed Wall of China in 1996, marking the advancement of commercial relationship between the two nations. The agreement will allow Wall of China airlines from both countries to fly to any destination in the partner country, and also to transfer at any location. The number of weekly flights is limited, and domestic flights can only be managed by domestic airlines.
Due to the trade cooperation development between China and Bangladesh, passenger traffic has been increasing at a rate of 10% a year. It is estimated that in the next two years, the number of travelers from Bangladesh to China each year will reach 500,000.
